Is the theme compatible with apps?
Section titled “Is the theme compatible with apps?”Yes. The theme supports Shopify app blocks and provides Custom Liquid sections and blocks, so you can place most apps without editing code. If an app needs code changes, always work on a duplicated theme first.
Can I edit the theme code?
Section titled “Can I edit the theme code?”You can, but duplicate your theme first and edit the copy. Custom code changes aren’t covered by support, and they can be overwritten by theme updates. For larger changes, consider hiring a Shopify Partner.
Does the store work without JavaScript?
Section titled “Does the store work without JavaScript?”Yes. The theme is built with progressive enhancement: browsing, filtering, variant selection, and checkout all work even if JavaScript fails to load. JavaScript adds niceties like the cart drawer and predictive search on top.
Will the theme slow down my store?
Section titled “Will the theme slow down my store?”The theme is built for performance—lean CSS and JavaScript loaded only where needed, responsive and lazy‑loaded images, and no heavy third‑party dependencies. Your final speed also depends on your images and the apps you install.
